BASIC PARTY FLOW: We arrive one hour before your party starts, set up, cooking lesson begins, while things bake and cool down, we start the main event, after main event, kids sit down and get to eat what they created, we pack up and leave while children are eating and you serve dessert!
1. Please make sure there is a close parking spot available for us to park. We have lots of fun supplies to carry in and it would help facilitate set up. We will be there 60 min to 45 min before your party starts to set up.
2. We start on time, so please ask your guest to be prompt. Our suggestion is to make your guest’s arrival time fifteen minutes earlier than our start up time. We run a tight schedule between parties and it is important we start on time. If the party starts late due to waiting for guest to arrive there will be a $30 charge added for every 15 minutes lapse.
3. Be sure that the table area for the cooking lesson is clean and free of mail etc.
4. It’s important that the kids be able to hear the instructors during the cooking lesson. So please be kind enough to shut off music that may be playing and to hold other adult conversation in a different room. Thanks!
5. Have a potholder, 2 dish cloths, hand soap, and a step stool (if needed) near the kitchen sink for hand washing.
6. Have a dressing area available for set up of clothing, scavenger hunt etc., if having a tea party have your dining room table cleared Please have this area free of toys etc.
7. **If having a dress up type of party please have kids wear a bathing suit or leotard under their clothing, also have brown paper bags (ready before we arrive) with the children’s name written on it so that they can put their clothing in the bag. This will help when it comes to getting the children back into their clothing!**
8. We have a lot of “prep work” to do when we arrive, we would love to chat with you but we need to prepare for the big event
9. Please clear off counters in your kitchen of decoration, we bring a lot of items for the cooking lesson and need space to organize
10. Have a shelf in the refrigerator cleared so that we can store items. And freezer space for sundaes.
11. After the cooking lesson our workers are going to start the “main event”, we need your assistance in cleaning up the cooking lesson area and setting the table with your party cups and drinks and have plates stacked together with children’s names written on them - on the kitchen counter.
12. Our workers will be busy conducting the main event, please help us keep an eye on the items in the oven.
13. Please have an empty garbage receptacle available in the cooking area.
14. Please email us the names of all the children attending the party a few days before your party. So that we can label dessert cups etc. Also email us directions to your house
